EXERCISE 4 CREATING, HEADER, FOOTER, COVER PAGE, AND BIBLIOGRAPHY (MS WORD MANUAL)

 MS WORD MANUAL

                                             

       INSERT HEADER AND FOOTER 


                     Select Add Header from the Insert menu. You can use whatever Header you want.


      

Add a title to your header, then click to Format and add Shape Fill. Choose your favorite color and design your own logo.




      


                Then select Footer from the Insert menu. After that, you can make it however you like. 

       



INSERTING COVER PAGE



   Then go to Insert and look for Cover Page, then make your desired Cover page.


            


            


   APPLYING HEADINGS 1, 2, 3.

Go to Home, then pick Heading 1 and apply it to all of your document's larger titles. You can also change the Font Style and Font Size according to your preferences.


  

     
   
     Still at Home, but this time look for Heading 2 and 3. You can also change the Font Styles and Font Size.

       

               


          INSERTING TABLE OF CONTENTS
    

          Then, in References, look for the Table of Contents. Select Automatic Table of  Contents from the drop-down menu.

      
     
           


                   


            APPLYING IMAGE CAPTION


Now look in the References section for the Insert Caption. Click OK after adding a caption to the figure.



             

             


             



 INSERTING LIST OF FIGURE


After you've named all of the figures, go to References and look for the Insert List of Figures option.

          



ADDING FOOTNOTE 


Still in References, click the Insert Footnote button to add a footnote.

       

       



      CREATING AND APPLYING CITATION


We'll now move on to Citation. While still in References, locate the Insert Citation option. Fill up the blanks with the information needed, then click OK. Make a list of references.


           

            

            


INSERTING BIBLIOGRAPHY 

Select the Bibliography and click it to apply the citation list you've created. Then you're finished.
